Work-related stress

Individual assessment and treatment are provided to employees or organisations regarding work-related stress. The level of intervention can vary from assessment and intervention recommendations only (2 - 3 appointments), to on-going therapeutic work if required.

Where on-going therapeutic work is requested and indicated, clear treatment goals are established with the individual employee or organisation. These usually revolve around regaining optimal work performance and would typically involve 8 - 10 appointment sessions using cognitive-behavioural approaches.

Where organisations request the assessment or therapeutic work, psychological reports are produced according to agreed time-scales. Confidentiality boundaries are set out at the start of the involvement and employees and employers are required to sign a formal confidentiality agreement.
